Linton Parish Council Meetings are normally held at The Brick Rooms, Main Street, Linton, commencing at 7pm on the second Tuesday of each month except for August where there is no meeting. Although the Public and Press have a right to attend meetings of Linton Parish Council and its Committees or Sub-Committees, it is the Elected Local Linton Councillors who collectively make the decisions about Council business and what services or facilities to provide within the local community.
How do I talk about/raise an issue/add something to the Parish Council meeting agenda?
In the first instance please contact our Parish Council Clerk. The Clerk should be able to help you with most queries or issues, if not our Clerk will be able to point you in the right direction.
Agenda items are agreed in advance of each meeting and cannot be changed on the night. There is 15 minutes at the start of each meeting for residents/members of the public to raise any issues with the Parish Council that is already on the agenda. If it's not on the agenda, it will be at the Chairpersons discretion as to if the matter can be raised at the meeting. It may be that the Chairperson will direct this item to be added to the next agenda.
